i've a new obsession; treasury making :)

a place where you can make a collage of creations, it may be your favorite items or favorite colours, the choices are endless. pick your own theme & then give your treasury a name for all to see & share. a great way of finding new & inspiring work by so many very taleneted makers & sellers over on the huge crafty world of etsy

 i can spend ages making treasuries, flicking through pages & pages of work, selecting & arranging items to all fit together & complement one another.

yup, me bonkers! 

if you think that's mad, there's a new craze, a place very similar to etsy treasury making, a whole other world dedicated to browsing & 'pinning' work onto a giant virtual pinboard!

it's all christmassy making mad here at the mo!

currently printing gift wrap, fabric & sewing bird & tree decorations ready for fairs. 

it's great to be sewing again, something i've been doing in the evenings now the nights are drawing in. 

 these fabric birds are taken from my robin & wren paper bunting. 

stuffed with none other than duck feathers!

perfect for christmas & all year round really ;)

a sneaky peak of my little {tidy} work area; inside the tiny box room upstairs. 

some lovely eco friendly brown card arrived in the post so i got printing. 

another christmassy/winter themed design.

i thought the handsome little chap would feel mighty chilly this winter without a snuggly scarf to wear ;)

i also made a third block inspired by the wonderful fair isle patterns.

hand printed in blue, red & green.

now to pack them up
