Combat C-16P-RDL, G&G CM16 series rifles feature a tough polymer receiver which is solidly constructed so that there is no body flex, creaks or squeaks during handling. They do still weigh in comfortably at just over 5 lbs thanks to their metal barrel and buffer tube which also gives them near perfect balance. Internally G&G has fitted these rifles with their metal V2 gearboxes which feature steel gears running on 8mm bearing bushings for exceptionally smooth performance.

The CM16 Raider-L is a modified variant of the M4 which has been fitted with a slightly shorter 13.5 inch barrel, a one piece 16 slot polymer RIS, a removable match grade rear sight, a 416 style pistol grip and a six position collapsible crane stock with buffer tube sling mount. You will find the match rear sight is fitted with a dual aperture rear sight which is fully adjustable for both windage and elevation. With the rear sight removed the receiver features a flattop mounting deck which can accept practically any optic of your choice from reflex sights to scopes.

On the firing line we found this rifle to be remarkably accurate and capable of connecting with targets at surprising distances despite not being exceptionally powerful. The combination of the one piece hop-up, bucking and barrel G&G used seems to be a match made in heaven since even on full auto the .25g BBs we fired stayed in a deadly tight group right out to the rifles maximum range.
